New Wave Catamarans is a relatively recent addition to the Australia's aluminium boat building scene, but behind the company's foundation is a wealth of hands on design and construction expertise. Directors of the enterprise are Peter Cavaliere and Paul Birgan, both of whom have worked in a project manager/chief designer relationship for several years.

They have been involved over the past five years in the design and construction of many successful new-build catamarans for both domestic and overseas operators and are leaving little to chance in this venture.

New Wave Catamaran's new shipyard at Morningside has been planned, outfitted and equipped for high class aluminium fabrication using the latest hi-tech equipment. Easy access to deep water and the provision of near by launching facilities allow vessels of almost any size to be completed and launched right on the Brisbane river in Australia.

A hand-picked workforce of tradesmen has been assembled with the selection based on their experience in the completion of aluminium catamarans designed by Paul and his team at Commercial Marine Consulting Services (CMCS) over recent years.

As well as 6 other boats New Wave Catamarans have successful completed two 25 Meter / 200 passenger catamaran ferries for Sydney. Also three 28 meter catamarans hull kits for Hong Kong were supplied, packed into containers and shipped to China where they are currently being completed. Prospects look good for the future of New Wave Cats with more orders in the pipeline and the quality of the boats will ensure many orders to follow.
